I have such fond memories of the times i spent with Uncle Len and Auntie Iris at their home in Turpins Lane.  Having spent many summer holidays staying at Nanny Bic’s, i would wander down to visit this ‘so cool couple’ !!  I loved the Big Band records they played and told me about the various musicians. From those days, i never looked back and, together with my own Dad’s love of music, i became a life long fan of artists such as Sinatra, Tony Bennett and their Big Bands.  I cherish the many cd’s that Uncle Len ‘burned’ for me, to enjoy over recent years.
